Who we are

MR HANDY Property Maintenance & Home Improvements is a home improvement service operating across Doncaster, Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley, plus Leeds, Bradford, Halifax and Nottingham, run by Radek Oracko. What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us. If you complete the quote or contact form, that is:

Your name
Your phone number
Your email address, if you provide one
Your postcode
The service you are asking about
The description of the work you write
Any photographs you choose to attach
Your preferred way of being contacted

We do not ask for payment details, dates of birth, or any other information we do not need in order to quote for the work.

Why we have it, and what we do with it

We use these details for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to carry out the work. The lawful basis is your consent when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has asked us to.

Form submissions are sent to us by email. We do not sell your details, we do not share them with marketing companies, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while we are dealing with them and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we have a record of work quoted or carried out. If you would like your details removed sooner, ask us and we will delete them.

Security

This website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and form submissions are validated and rate-limited on our server to prevent abuse. Enquiry emails are held in a password-protected mailbox.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to confirm what information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete it, or stop using it. Contact us and we will deal with it. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Other websites

This site links out to WhatsApp and may link to social media. Once you follow a link, that service’s own privacy policy applies — we have no control over it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page.
